Artist Grade Canvas

We use a high quality canvas suitable for fine art prints. The 100% cotton canvas has a natural feel and refined weave, to give a high quality finish and excellent colour reproduction.

All our canvas prints are laminated with a high performance, water based clear coating that offers UV protection, abrasion & chemical resistance.

Gallery wrap - wraps the edge of your image around the sides of the frame. This is suitable when the main focal part of your picture is central with enough outer image to fold around the edge of the frame.

In the example, the darkened border shows where the picture will be folded, and wrapped around the edge of the frame.

Mirror wrap - if your photo doesn’t have enough edge to gallery wrap, it may be possible to mirror part of your photo to create a wrapped image.

In the example, the shaded area shows where the picture will be folded. With a mirror wrap we copy the edge of your picture and flip it to create a mirror image.  The mirrored image will be wrapped around the edge of the frame.

Standard / Colour Match Wrap

Standard or Colour Match wrap can be used where the primary image is too close to the edge of the frame for a gallery or mirror wrap

A Standard wrap leaves the edge of your picture the natural canvas colour while in a Colour Matched wrap we can select a colour from your image and colour match the sides.

High Quality Frames

Our pictures are wrapped over 38mm thick bars made of a Pine wood
called Fir – A lightweight but strong wood that is much less likely to
warp than ‘normal’ Pine bars – an essential in today’s ‘centrally heated’
environment, kiln dried to 8% moisture content.

Your framed canvas print will come supplied with wedges inserted
into the rear of the frame to stretch the canvas, these will also allow
re-stretching if required.

Red Eye Removal:

The red-eye effect is the common appearance of red pupils in color photographs of eyes. It occurs when using a flash very close to the camera lens in ambient low light. We can remove the effect before printing your images.
